The Datil Road­run­ners 4-H club had spe­cial guests at this month’s meet­ing at the Ea­gle Guest Ranch on March 18 at 6 PM. The club hosted Brock Pow­ell from the Horse Springs 4-H club who is Vice Pres­i­dent of the Ca­tron County 4-H Coun­cil. The Sec­re­tary of the Coun­cil, Mae­gan Simp­son, from the San Fran­cisco Val­ley 4-H club, also at­tended. Brock and Mae­gan talked about the pur­pose of the Coun­cil, which is to of­fer op­por­tu­ni­ties, or­ga­nize ac­tiv­i­ties, and pro­vide ed­u­ca­tion for the county's 4-H youth mem­bers. They also an­nounced that there will be a 4-H leader and of­fi­cer train­ing at the Re­serve High School on March 29 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM.

The Datil Road­run­ners will hold their next meet­ing at the Datil Fire­house on April 8 at 5 PM.
