Clara S. Germain 1913-2013
Clara Gertrude S. Germain, age 95, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born in Watertown, NY on November 18, 1917. She was a member of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Mission in Datil.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and only sister, as well as her husband of 49 years, Gabriel Germain, while living in Peralta, NM, where she continued
She was Sam’s devoted partner, travelling everywhere with him. In Pie Town, Faith’s memories of collars, leashes, and fences were replaced with chasing rabbits, trail riding, and making “doggie angels” in the snow.
Everyone who knew Faith will miss this beautiful, loyal dog. Faith was buried on her very favorite spot on the ranch.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Germain of Watertown, NY, Charles and wife Patricia of Datil; seven grandchildren, Michele V. Germain, of USS Nimitz, Tom of Lakeland, FL, Patrick and wife Kathie of Peralta, NM, John and wife Debi of Mesa, AZ, Martin of Mesa, AZ, Michael and wife Gerda of Chester, VA, and Peter and wife Nichole of Gloucester, VA; eleven great grandchildren; and twelve great greatgrandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date. Donations may be made to Ride 2 Recovery, for our wounded Veterans.
