Catron Courier - - Front Page - By Margaret Ferranti

Mr. Thomas’ Fourth Grade at Quemado Elementary has produced six aspiring poets. The six students were chosen based on the quality of their poems and will be published in a book that will be distributed nationally.

The students were competing in a poetry contest sponsored by Creative Communication. The organization promotes writing and sponsors contests like this one in which students are recognized and rewarded for their writing abilities.

Alea Garcia-Armstrong, I’m an FBI Agent

Jeramiah Armstrong, Gizmo

Raistlin Showers, My Rabbits

Congratulations to all of the winning students and to Mr. Thomas for encouraging his classes in their creative writing endeavors.
