A Piece of History With Your Pie

Catron Courier - - News -

Imagine stepping back in time to and exploring a completely authentic old west homesteader’s cabin. Imagine the antique log cabin filled with period furniture, a woodburning stove, hand washer, an old-time piano, and vintage appliances. A cabin that is decked out just the way for any homesteaders in the 1800’s.

Well, tucked into the amazing collection of windmills at the Dan & Cyn Lee Windmill Museum on Hwy 60 in Pie Town is such a cabin—and now you have even more reason to visit it. The Pie Source, a local pie and coffee shop, has set up their shop inside the cabin.

If you’d like to experience an authentic piece of old west history, and experience a piece of hand-made freshly baked pie, stop by the Pie Source. Call for hours (and see the Pie Source ad in this newspaper for more information). The cabin is a must visit stop next time you’re traveling through Pie Town.
