Burnard E. Mil­li­gan, 72, of Re­serve, passed away at home on March 23, 2015, sur­rounded by the love and com­fort of his fam­ily.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Burnard’s life was held on Satur­day, March 28, 2015, at 11AM at the Ca­tron County Fair Build­ing in Re­serve.

Burnard was born in Morenci, AZ, on June 3, 1942. Burnard was raised in Apache Creek on the fam­ily ranch and made his home in Re­serve where he and his wife raised their fam­ily. He lived his life as a rancher, heavy equip­ment op­er­a­tor, and ser­vice sta­tion owner. He en­joyed hunt­ing, fish­ing, tak­ing care of his cows, and spend­ing time with his grand­chil­dren.

He is sur­vived by his wife of 53 years, Lena Arm­strong Mil­li­gan, his step-mother, He­len Mil­li­gan, his chil­dren Carolyn Livingston, Yvonne Mil­li­gan, Tommy Mil­li­gan, Ron Mil­li­gan, thir­teen grand­chil­dren and six great grand­chil­dren. He is also sur­vived by his sis­ters, Verna French and Carolyn Nay­lor.

He is pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther, TW Mil­li­gan, mother, Opal Hahn, and grand­son Dustin Perez.
