On April 9 , the San Francisco Valley 4-H Club held their fourth meeting for the year of 2018. The 4-H leaders, members, and their families discussed past and future events concerning our 4-H Club, along with updates on all of their 4-H projects. The booth we held at the Dutch Oven Cookoff was a success. Almost all of the baked goods and all of the delicious food sold out quickly. The Rabies Clinic and Bake Sale was held on April 7 as well, was a drastic improvement from last year. Overall, both the Rabies Clinic and the Bake Sale was a success. For new business we discussed more plans for the Annual Spring Bingo concern- ing set up time, food, and beverages for the concession stand. The San Francisco Valley 4-H Club would like to thank all who donated, volunteered, and participated in the Dutch Oven Cookoff, Rabies Clinic, the Bake Sale, and the 4-H Bingo. After the fourth meeting of the San Francisco Valley 4-H Club, Violet Watson gave a five minute presentation about braids and their different uses. Finally, The San Francisco Valley 4H Club would like to congratulate Lori Robertson, our 4-H President, on her title as the New Mexico Junior Beef Ambassador! (Fun Fact: 4-H instills great work ethic and responsibility in children!)
