Magdalena Frontier Festival

Catron Courier - - News -

Magdalena Frontier Festival aspires to be a reoccurring yearly festival and an enduring local treasure—a widely anticipated, interactive hub of creative and community energy. Admission is Free. Activities include a shootout, music, art, food, and hay rides and lots of family fun.

The event is June 2, and coincides with the opening of the Boxcar Museum.

The impressively renovated, but formerly dilapidated boxcar, was used as a place to collect local donations of old items relating to the diverse history of the town—mining, railroad, and stock drive.

This modest museum promises to be a worthwhile and memorable visit. ◊◊◊
