READY TO RUMBLE!

CBS Soaps In Depth - - We Speak Out! -

As a general rule, we’re not big on catfights. It’s demeaning to both women involved and often a lot less fun than would be a well- written verbal smackdown. But proving there’s an exception to ever y r ule, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’S showdown between Quinn and Sheila was fantastically entertaining. From Quinn’s taunts (“I called you a bitch, bitch!”) to Sheila’s subtle facial expressions, the build-up was exquisite. And once the fur(niture) began to fly,

we were amazed at the level of destruction. How much fun must it be to basically trash an entire set? Meanwhile, the fact that Eric seems to be playing right into Sheila’s

hands is beyond frustrating and, frankly, gives us a strong urge to throw a heavy object at his head, if only in an attempt to knock some sense into the Forrester patriarch!

… or is it flat- out hilarious that B&B’S James has somehow managed to earn a living as a practicing psychiatrist? One need only take a glimpse at his face — perpetually set in a grimace of pained consternation — to know this guy has more issues than a compulsive hoarder of Reader’s Digests! Hearing James and Sheila discuss their daughter, Mary, got us wondering if perhaps she might pop up in the future. Loath as the men on this show are to date women who haven’t shared a previous romantic connection with a member of their family, perhaps they’d make an exception in her case!

Ladies, this is not how you play duck, duck… goose!

Oh, James, that’s not how one checks a head case.
