CBS Soaps In Depth - - We Speak Out! -

Bill is definitely creative when it comes to going after what he wants, but we don’t really understand why he didn’t just offer to pay the cash-poor Sally that cool $5 mill to relocate to much nicer digs, then buy the building from C.J. for a fair price — an option that would have been win-win for everyone involved! His apparent brain lapse is our win, of course, since the most interesting facet of Bill’s current obsession is

the fallout that seems likely to hit him where it hurts, i.e. within his own family. Already, we’re seeing a growing rift between Liam and his father, and once Brooke discovers her husband’s deplorable acts, she

might start to think that Ridge smooching Quinn was no biggie by comparison! Bill may consider Skye his other lady love, but something tells us she’s not ideal for snuggling up with late at night!

Why is THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Victoria running Brash & Sassy rather than taking her rightful place at Victor’s side, working as CEO at Newman Enterprises? Danni Matthews Pittsburgh, PA

A.Victoria has worked side-by-side with her father for years, and often stepped in to run Newman when Victor left (or was thought dead). But after the whole Marco debacle, Victor felt like his daughter had betrayed him when she refused to testify on his behalf. To retaliate, he sold her brainchild, Brash & Sassy, to Billy, who later lost it to his mom, Jill. After a judge let Victor out of prison, his first step was to oust Victoria from the company as further punishment for her lack of support. Victoria wasn’t out of work for long — Jill hired her to run Brash & Sassy, hoping close proximity to Billy would reunite the couple. Later, Victoria bought Brash & Sassy from Jill, when the matriarch found her bank accounts wiped by Colin. And even though Victoria and Victor have since reconciled, she seems happy running her own company!

Q. Whatever happened to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’S Dayzee, the young woman who ran the coffeehouse?

A.Marie via E-mail The last time we heard mention of Dayzee and her husband, Marcus (who is Carter’s brother and Donna’s son), was back in 2013 when they were heading to Johannesburg, South Africa, so he could conduct some Forrester business. It’s with good reason that we aren’t likely to see Dayzee in the near future, as her portrayer, Kristolyn Lloyd, is currently a cast member in the popular Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen, which won a Tony Award this year for best musical! Q. I love the song “Issues” by Julia Michaels, and my cousin told me she once performed on B&B. Can you confirm this?

A.Cassie Cane via E-mail Your cousin has a great memory! The singer appeared on the show back in 2009, when Liam invited her to perform the song “Next To You” at his and Steffy’s wedding reception. Since then, her career has flourished. In 2016, she performed a song at the closing ceremony of the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, and this year she was nominated for an MTV award in the categor y of “Best New Artist.” In addition to performing, she’s also a prolific songwriter, having written tunes for the likes of Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani and Justin Bieber.
