Take this Job & LOVE It!

CBS Soaps In Depth - - Ins & Outs -

On my first day, I remember thinking…

“I’d better remember all my lines!”

When I get to work, the first thing I do is…

“Take my stuff down to my room. Then I go upstairs, get a green tea and head to the makeup room.”

When I’m waiting to get called to the set, I’m usually…

“Talking to Stuart Howard, one of our stage managers. We often discuss video games and movies that we’ve seen.”

Just before the camera starts to roll, I usually feel…

“Anxious to make sure I have everything down in my mind. I’ll read through my script one last time.”

The thing that most surprised me about the set is…

“How many different sets there are! The pub, the club, the loft, the hospital, the offices… there’s so many in there! It’s crazy!”

My favorite set to work on is…

“I like the pub — that’s really cool to be in. But I also like the hospital because I’ve been there so often that it feels like I’m actually working there.”

My favorite days on the set are the ones when I get to…

“Talk to everybody. We always have great conversations here.”

The castmate who remains the biggest mystery to me is…

“John Aniston (Victor) because I only see him every once in a while.”

On my lunch break, you’ll likely find me…

“I eat pretty quickly, then go back to the makeup room to talk to whoever’s there.”

One thing I still can’t figure out around here is…

“Oh, man, I still get lost! There’s two separate stages, so I always forget which way I’m going.”

The last thing I do before leaving work is…

“Get coffee. I always leave with a coffee.”

On my commute home, I’m usually…

“On the phone with someone like my mom or dad… hands-free, of course!”
