The ink on Billy and Victoria’s divorce papers on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS has long since dried, but the couple reminded us that when

you have kids together, you will always be connected. The duo reunited for son Johnny’s first day of school in a charming scene of spousal support. “I’m glad we’re doing this together; it’s nice to be able to

take him to school — you know, the three of us,” Billy said quietly, earning a smile from his ex, who added, “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

As they considered the milestone of sending their son into first grade, it was entirely natural for them to look back at Johnny’s life — and their own journey. “I never thought we’d have been apart back then,” Billy admitted when Victoria recalled how they adopted the baby from Chelsea. “I always just wanted to give him the picture-perfect life.”

Understanding glinted in Victoria’s eyes as she looked at her former husband and assured him, “Well, it may not be the life we imagined, but he’s got two parents that adore him. He’s loved. And we are still a family. That’s all that matters, right?”

The next moment, they revealed just how much of a united front they were when Johnny exhibited his first-dayof-school jitters. Working in tandem, they comforted and teased him out of his fear. “He’s gonna be great,” Billy smiled at Victoria. “And if there are any issues, then we’ll just do our co-parenting thing that we do. It seems to work… we make a pretty good team.”

Yes, they do. And while that statement might send a shiver down Phyllis’ spine, we love it!

“Johnny, be good,” pleaded his folks.
