Like Father, Like Son

CBS Soaps In Depth - - The Young & The Restless -

Joshua Morrow ( Nick) says that he recognizes a lot of himself in his youngest son, Cash — especially the 9-year-old’s burning desire to be the best in spor ts. “He is so fiercely competitive, and gets emotional about things,” shares the actor. “When I was his age, I was the same way. When I lost a game, I’d cry, I was so upset! I had extremely high, al- most unattainable standards for myself in spor ts. And that is my youngest to a T! He wants the best sports gear, and he wants to win!” While Morrow empathizes with his son, he is also trying to get Cash to see the bigger picture. “Sometimes it’s like, ‘Dude, it’s okay!’” Dad grins. “I’m trying to teach him that sports isn’t as much about your per formance as it is about the team. But he’s still 9 — he has time to learn!”

Morrow gets a déjà vu feeling with his youngest son, Cash.
