Tressie M. Wil­son


Tressie M. Wil­son, 88, of Ox­ford, PA, passed away Mon­day, March 28, 2016 at Chris­tian Hospital, Ne­wark, DE.

She was the wife of the late Clyde I. Wil­son with whom she shared 58 years of mar­riage.

Born in Asheville, NC, she was the daugh­ter of the late Wil­liam and Lona Miller Keys.

She was a mem­ber of the Not­ting­ham Mis­sion­ary Bap­tist Church.

Tressie was a seam­stress at Fawn Grove Man­u­fac­tur­ing Com­pany, Ris­ing Sun, MD.

She en­joyed her fam­ily, lis­ten­ing to gospel mu­sic, cook­ing and sewing.

She is sur­vived by four sons, Clyde Don­ald Wil­son (Toni) of Ris­ing Sun, MD, Wil­liam Ray­mond Wil­son of Elk­ton, MD, Stephen J. Wil­son (Mar­i­lyn) of Colora, MD and John C. “Jack” Wil­son (Patti) of Ris­ing Sun, MD; one daugh­ter, Karen Cook (Steve) of Ris­ing Sun; 10 grand­chil­dren; 14 great­grand­chil­dren; one great­great grand­child; three brothers, Wil­liam Keys of Not­ting­ham, PA, J. Earl Keys of Lit­tle Bri­tain, PA, and Ver­non Keys of Port De­posit, MD; four sis­ters, Dorothy Van Dyke of Ris­ing Sun, He­len Vaughan of Tay­lo­ria, PA, Opal Goad of Ris­ing Sun, and Pa­tri­cia Tem­ple of Not­ting­ham, PA.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held 11 a.m. Satur­day, April 2 at the Not­ting­ham Mis­sion­ary Bap­tist Church, 303 W. Chris­tine Road, Not­ting­ham, PA 19362, where friends and fam­ily may visit from 10-11 a.m.

Friends and fam­ily may also visit from 6-8 p.m. Fri­day at the Ed­ward L. Collins Jr. Fu­neral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St., Ox­ford, PA.

In­ter­ment will be in the ad­join­ing ceme­tery.

In lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions in her mem­ory may be made to the Not­ting­ham Mis­sion­ary Bap­tist Church Build­ing Fund.
