Frances F. Maberry

Frances F. Maberry, 78, of Elk­ton, MD, passed away sud­denly on March 25, 2016. Fran was born in At­lantic City, she was raised in Mar­gate and at­tended Mar­gate schools, grad­u­at­ing from At­lantic City High School class of 1955. Af­ter high school, she at­tended Bar­bizon School in New York City. On April 11, 1959, she mar­ried the love of her life, John H. Maberry and set­tled in Ma­cungie, PA, for 25 years. They also resided in South­ern, CA, Ar­ling­ton, TX, and fi­nally set­tling in Elk­ton, MD. Fran did mod­el­ing for sev­eral years, worked in her son’s school dis­trict, was a Judge of Elec­tions and had worked for the Nixon Pres­i­den­tial Cam­paign. Fran en­joyed her job at Curve’s where she loved to en­cour­age peo­ple. She was a wine en­thu­si­ast, loved to shop and play golf.

Frances is sur­vived by her lov­ing hus­band of 57 years John, her sons, Jef­frey (Denny), Keil, her grand­chil­dren Daniel (Kelly), Alexa, Erika, Elle, Bianca and two great grand­chil­dren, Cal­lie and Kam­ran. Fran is also sur­vived by her sis­ter Nancy Bird, her sis­ter in law Catherine Fin­negan (Jim) and her many lov­ing nieces, neph­ews and cousins. She is pre­de­ceased by her brother, Harold Al­bert Feyl.

A Me­mo­rial Ser­vice will be of­fered Fri­day morn­ing at 11 o’clock from Holy Trin­ity Epis­co­pal Church, 30th Street at Bay Av­enue, Ocean City, NJ, where friends may call from ten o’clock un­til the time of ser­vice. Burial is pri­vate.
