Ralph Harry Webb, Sr.
Ralph Harry Webb, Sr., age 83, of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Born in Chester, PA, on June 19, 1932, he was the son of the late William H. and Anna Janusiewicz Webb.
Mr. Webb was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the DuPont Company, Experimental Station, where he worked in shipping and receiving. Mr. Webb loved spending time with his family and was devoted to his Lord. He enjoyed card games, especially poker, horse racing and watching television.
Survivors include his children, Donald Webb and wife, Donna, Elkton, MD, and Cheryl Hignutt and husband, Mark, Grayson, KY; grandchildren, CW2 Jordan Uzzo, Robert Hignutt and Amanda Hignutt; greatgrandchildren, Enzo and Camden Uzzo, and Roxy Hignutt; and siblings, Delores Marshall, Trainer, PA, Ann Marie Collis, Ewan, NJ, Jane Hanavin, Wilmington, DE, and Robert Webb, Dagsboro, DE.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Rice Webb; son, Ralph H. Webb, Jr.; and siblings, Mary Pasternak, Joseph Webb and William “Billie” Webb.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD. Visitation will be held in the church chapel from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
