Lucy Fillingame Tit­ter, 95, of Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD died Sun­day, April 3, 2016. Daugh­ter of the late Ge­orge and Florence Dun­smore Fillingame, she was born on Fe­bru­ary 1, 1921.

A home­maker, Mrs. Tit­ter grad­u­ated Goldey Col­lege, Wilm­ing­ton, DE and worked at Ch­e­sa­peake City Bank. Later she was the busi­ness man­ager for the fam­ily busi­ness, Tit­ter’s Tex­aco, which was op­er­ated by her hus­band, Wal­ter. She was a mem­ber of Trin­ity United Methodist Church, Ch­e­sa­peake City as well as United Methodist Women.

Sur­vivors in­clude her chil­dren, Carol T. Meeks (Gary), Ne­wark, DE and Richard W. Tit­ter (Su­san), Ear­leville, MD; grand­chil­dren, Caro­line Meeks and Mered­ith Wal­raven; great grand­chil­dren, Brit­tany, Day­ton, J.J., Ja­cob, and Reese and a great great grand­son, Ralph.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, Mrs. Tit­ter was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 54 years, Wal­ter “Jack” Tit­ter and sib­lings, Ralph and Ge­orge Fillingame and Betty Ma­ree.

Fu­neral ser­vice will be held 2 p.m., Thurs­day, April 7, 2016 at Trin­ity United Methodist Church, 450 3rd Street, Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD 21915, with vis­i­ta­tion at 1 p.m. In­ter­ment will be in Bethel Ceme­tery, Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD.
