Whose net is it?
The San Jose Sharks dealt a first-round pick for Martin Jones and made him their starting goaltender. Jones has done the job, playing 63 games and winning 36 with a .918 save percentage. But he may find himself on the bench for the playoffs. James Reimer, acquired from Toronto at the trade deadline as insurance, is 6–2–0 with the Sharks, allowing just 1.62 goals per game and sporting a .938 save percentage. Jones hasn’t been bad of late (.927 save percentage in March), but he has won just five of his last 10 starts. Reimer has just one series of playoff experience, but that’s one more than Jones. Don’t be surprised if the Sharks ride the hot hand.
