Ti­mothy Lee McGill, 63, of North East, MD, passed away peace­fully on Satur­day, March 19, 2016 with his fam­ily by his side.

He was born in Cham­paign, IL, on Aug. 30, 1952. He served his coun­try proudly in the U.S. Army.

Ti­mothy at­tended the Florida In­sti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy. He worked as a con­trac­tor.

He was a mem­ber of North East United Methodist Church, North East, MD. Tim had a va­ri­ety of in­ter­ests in­clud­ing boat­ing, kayak­ing, wood­work­ing, div­ing, and music. He trav­eled ex­ten­sively dur­ing his life­time and en­joyed tak­ing trips with his fam­ily, es­pe­cially to the beach.

He was a lov­ing, car­ing per­son and will be missed dearly.

Sur­vivors in­clude his lov­ing wife: Suzanne “Sue” (Car­lon) McGill; one daugh­ter: Lon­don P. McGill (Richie Huff­s­tut­ler) of Port De­posit, MD, and one son, T. Keaton McGill of North East, MD; his fa­ther: Ray­mond Ed­ward McGill of Win­ston, GA; five brothers: Kelly McGill (Dale) of Villa Rica, GA, Terry McGill (Pam) of Hal­lan­dale, FL, Ed­ward McGill (Priscilla) of Dou­glasville, GA, Glenn McGill of Dou­glasville and Kevin McGill (Christy) of Dou­glasville.

He was pre­ceded in death by his mother: Grace Josephine (Bar­rette) McGill and his brother: Daniel McGill

Me­mo­rial ser­vices, con­ducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Satur­day, April 16, 2 p.m. at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main St., North East, MD, where the fam­ily will re­ceive guests be­gin­ning at 1 p.m. un­til ser­vice time.

In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial do­na­tions may be made for Pan­cre­atic Can­cer Re­search, to Na­tional Pan­cre­atic Can­cer Foun­da­tion, in care of Crouch Fu­neral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD 21901.
