Forums haven’t answered questions

Cecil Whig - - OPINION -

FROM: JAMES W. BAKER ELKTON

In his letter to the editor of the Whig on April 11, Carl Roberts asks voters to answer a series of questions regarding the candidates’ intentions prior to voting.

But neither the VFW nor the Cecil College forums answered any of these questions about the candidates for county executive. It would be nice if these questions were fielded but they were not, so voters are left to their own devices to fill in the blanks before voting.

We are left to vote on the basis of promises without any details of how the candidates will achieve their goals without cutting services or increasing taxes, or both. Thank you.
