Paige Fuller Reed, 79, of North East, MD, died Satur­day, April 16, 2016 in the Sea­sons Hospice & Pal­lia­tive Care in Chris­tiana Hospi­tal, Ne­wark, DE.

Born in North Roy­al­ton, OH, on March 19, 1937, he was the son of John Arthur Reed and Vi­vian Elenor Mar­riott Reed.

Paige is a mem­ber of the Moore So­ci­ety which traces the Reed fam­ily mem­bers back to the Mayflower. He is also as­so­ci­ated with Amer­i­can Py­rotech­nic As­so­ci­a­tion (APA), Py­rotech­nics Guild In­ter­na­tional (PGI), and the Na­tional Fire­works As­so­ci­a­tion (NFA).

He re­tired from the U.S. Army with 22 years of ser­vice, was sta­tioned through­out the US, Ger­many, and saw ac­tion in Viet­nam. Upon re­tir­ing from the mil­i­tary he went to work for RCA in Cam­den, NJ. He left to pur­sue his love of fire­works. Paige was the founder of Fire­works Pro­duc­tions which once shot the July 4th fire­works dis­plays for North East, Elk­ton, Havre de Grace, the Bal­ti­more Syphomy Orches­tra and other or­ga­ni­za­tions and lo­ca­tions through­out Mary­land and sur­round­ing states and ex­tend­ing down to the state of Florida.. He left the dis­play por­tion of the in­dus­try to be­come owner and op­er­a­tor of Pa­tri­otic Fire­works, a whole­sale dis­trib­u­tor of fam­ily fire­works.

Sur­vived by his wife: April (Rickards) Fred­erici; three daugh­ters: Re­nee Reed Sloan, Sheree Reed Doe, and Cath­leen Reed Wisham; sis­ter: Ch­eryl Lynn Reed Fig­ure and brother: John Dale Reed; step­son: Erik Fred­erici; grand­chil­dren: Brit­taney Canupp, Daniel Wisham, and step grand­son Michael Doe. Paige is also sur­vived by his beloved dogs: Regi­nald and Sophia.
