Carabetta has the skills for exec.

Cecil Whig - - OPINION -

I am writing this letter to support Joe Carabetta for Cecil County Executive.

Joe would make an excellent county executive. I have seen his work ethic and skills in action for many years as I worked with him at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He dealt with budgets, personnel, equipment and facilities for 34 years at APG as a senior test officer and team leader. He was very good at recruiting new work for the test center, which is a skill that would serve Cecil County well in its drive to recruit new businesses and jobs. Joe always developed innovative solutions to problems that rose during testing, and was known for being a good mentor to younger engineers.

I also worked with Joe on some nonprofit adventures for the Cecil Land Trust and the Turkey Point Light House in North East. He has a passion for helping others, and is one of the hardest working people I know. The skills Joe acquired throughout his career at Aberdeen as well as his many nonprofit endeavors will serve Cecil County well.

I ask that you vote for Joe Carabetta for Cecil County Executive on April 26.
