H. Reid Halahan, 88, of Perryville, MD, passed away at Citizen Care Center, Havre de Grace, MD, on April 20, 2016. Born in Teaneck, NJ on Dec. 4, 1927, he was the son of the late Henry and Mildred Halahan.

He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in China.

Some of Reid’s most treasured activities included spending time at Healthy Lifestyles Fitness Center in Elkton, MD, where he made many wonderful friends. He also enjoyed the food and fellowship at the bymonthly luncheons held at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church in Colora, MD. On any given sunny day, he could be seen sitting outside his Perry Villa residence on Broad Street soaking up the sun.

He was a truly wonderful friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His final wish was to donate his body to the Maryland Anatomy Board’s Body Donation Program.

“If by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I asked, I will live forever.”
