Whig notes errors in rec center plan
FROM: GARY STORKE ELKTON
I would like to compliment the Cecil Whig’s Feb. 10 editorial titled “Time for a Plan,” concerning the town of Elkton.
The information was factual. The Whig questioned how much a new recreation center will cost and how many more people it will take to run the building. As far as I know, the paper has not received or published an answer.
The town usually doesn’t answer public questions anyway, and in this case they don’t know because they have not done their homework at the taxpayer’s expense. It is time for a change. Please vote for Bob Gorman and Chris Zeauskas on May 24 at Town Hall on Railroad Avenue.
Gary Storke is a former Elkton town commissioner.
