Car fire un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion

— The owner of a 2005 Kia Se­dona dis­cov­ered it ablaze early Satur­day morn­ing, ac­cord­ing to the Of­fice of the Mary­land State Fire Mar­shal.

The car was parked across

the street from the owner’s home. The fire mar­shal is now seek­ing in­for­ma­tion on the cause of the ve­hi­cle fire, which oc­curred on Ben­jamin Park Drive at 2:25 a.m.

Fire­fight­ers from Wa­ter Witch Vol­un­teer Fire Com- pany needed just nine min­utes to ex­tin­guish the fire in the pas­sen­ger com­part­ment. Dam­age was es­ti­mated at $500.
