Head to po­tions class The North East Branch Li­brary will host a po­tions class in­spired by the Harry Pot­ter se­ries at 4 p.m. on Wed­nes­day. Ages 8 to 11 are in­vited to this class hosted by Fair Hill Na­ture Cen­ter.

Say ‘Ohm’ The Ce­cil County Arts Coun­cil starts up a yoga class this week. The class will be held Thurs­days at 7 p.m., and this first in­tro­duc­tory class is free. Af­ter that, stu­dents must pay $10 a class or buy five classes for $45. Classes are de­signed for new and ex­pe­ri­enced yo­gis. Eat fresh Ce­cil County Agri­cul­ture and Farm­ers Market is back, so head on down to North East from 2 to 6 p.m. on Fri­day to check out what’s new. The market will run ev­ery Fri­day through Oct. 28 at 308 S. Main St. (the North East United Methodist Church park­ing lot).

Come meet lo­cal grow­ers and pro­duc­ers, buy sea­sonal fresh vegeta­bles and fruits, and sam­ple jams, jel­lies and baked goods. There will also be such items as lo­cal honey, ar­ti­san soaps, ba­con and scrap­ple.
