4 things to do this week
Head to potions class The North East Branch Library will host a potions class inspired by the Harry Potter series at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Ages 8 to 11 are invited to this class hosted by Fair Hill Nature Center.

Say ‘Ohm’ The Cecil County Arts Council starts up a yoga class this week. The class will be held Thursdays at 7 p.m., and this first introductory class is free. After that, students must pay $10 a class or buy five classes for $45. Classes are designed for new and experienced yogis. Eat fresh Cecil County Agriculture and Farmers Market is back, so head on down to North East from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday to check out what’s new. The market will run every Friday through Oct. 28 at 308 S. Main St. (the North East United Methodist Church parking lot).
Come meet local growers and producers, buy seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits, and sample jams, jellies and baked goods. There will also be such items as local honey, artisan soaps, bacon and scrapple.
