Ar­lene Louise Mil­let­teSi­do­nio, born Dec. 31, 1929, in Mil­ford, MA to Harry Al­ton Mil­lette and Louisa Deloia. Ar­lene lived her life lov­ing her fam­ily and trav­el­ing around the united states to visit them. Ar­lene passed away sud­denly and peace­fully on April 22, 2016, while in Mary­land stay­ing with her daugh­ter Anita Halsey and hus­band Sonny.

She was pre­ceded in death by her mother, fa­ther, sis­ters Rita and He­lene, brother Milo, daugh­ters Cheryl Anne, Ar­lene and Mary, and grand­son Joel.

She is sur­vived by two broth­ers and two sis­ters; chil­dren Robert Si­do­nio, (Al) Sioux Si­do­nio (Marvin) (Al), Sandee Robin­son (Va), Lynne Fish (Ma), John Si­do­nio (Amy) (Al), An­gela Ying (Dan) (Ma), Anita Halsey (Sonny) (Charlestown, MD), and Marie-Elena Car­roll (Wayne) (Havre De Grace, MD). She was blessed by 30 grand kids, 41 great-grand kids, and 8 great-great grand­kids as well as nu­mer­ous ne­ices, neph­ews and cousins.

Ar­lene’s pas­sions were trav­el­ing, be­ing sur­rounded by her fam­ily and sketch­ing. She would travel from state to state vis­it­ing her chil­dren and grand­chil­dren. She loved and nur­tured many and her love had no end. Her faith in Je­sus never waivered and it car­ried her through many heart aches in her life­time. She truly was a beau­ti­ful woman in­side and out and will be missed dearly by all whose hearts she touched.

Fu­neral ser­vices and a mass were held at St Annes Catholic Church, Dorch­ester, MA April 29-30, 2016. The fam­ily will be hold­ing a gath­er­ing in Charlestown to cel­e­brate her life for those who couldn’t make the jour­ney north. has 12 grand­chil­dren and 21 great-grand­chil­dren.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Ar­lin Steven­son; and sis­ters, Oakie, Vir­ginia, Marie and Josephine.

The fam­ily would like to thank the en­tire staff at Calvert Manor for tak­ing such won­der­ful care of Mrs. Steven­son and for lov­ing her so much!

Fu­neral ser­vice with in­ter­ment in Gilpin Manor Me­mo­rial Park, Elk­ton, will be pri­vate.
