‘Gate to Plate’ tavern night
Local food for local people is the theme of the upcoming “Gate to Plate” tavern night at Mount Harmon Plantation in Earleville.
Tickets are now on sale for the dinner, which happens at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Farm-raised foods and local wine and beer will be part of the meal.
The carriage house
visitor center will be transformed into an old-time tavern for the festive occasion. On the menu: roast chicken, root vegetables, spring salad, artisan bread, pie and ice cream. Participating businesses include Crow Farm, Eve’s Cheese, Milburn Orchards, Priapi Gardens and Woodside Farm Creamery.
