Norma Jean Bram­mer “Jean”, 74, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 31, 2016. She was born on Aug. 15, 1941 to the late Thomas Clarence and Ila Pauline Bartlett Comer in West Grove, PA.

Jean worked as a mar­ket­ing di­rec­tor for ra­dio sales for, AM “Oldies 97”, WAMD ra­dio sta­tion in Aberdeen, MD. She was also a beau­ti­cian, real es­tate agent, and home­maker. In her free time, Jean was an ac­tive member of her church and en­joyed gar­den­ing and paint­ing. Some say she was a very tal­ented artist.

Jean is sur­vived by her son, Dwain E. Bram­mer of Conowingo, MD; daugh­ter, Karen Denise Blan­chard and her hus­band, Michael of Per­ryville, MD; brother, Thomas Comer and his wife, Ardis El­iz­a­beth of Har­ri­son, AK; sis­ters: Brenda Stotts and her hus­band, Roger, of Phoenix, AZ, San­dra Abrams of Coud­er­sport, PA; three grand­chil­dren: Ti­mothy Bram­mer, Am­ber Bar­ney and Christo­pher Timm; and four great grand­chil­dren.

A ser­vice will be held on Mon­day, June 6, 11 a.m. at First Bap­tist of Havre de Grace, 108 South Stokes St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078. A visi­ta­tion will be held one hour prior be­gin­ning at 10 a.m., where fam­ily and friends are en­cour­aged to at­tend. Burial will fol­low the ser­vice and there will be a pro­ces­sion to Ox­ford Ceme­tery in Ox­ford, PA.
