County Cham­ber in­ducts new of­fi­cers

— The Ce­cil County Cham­ber of Com­merce in­ducted a slate of new of­fi­cers June 9 at their an­nual lunch meet­ing at the Ch­e­sa­peake Inn while they lis­tened to Ce­cil County Pub­lic Schools Su­per­in­ten­dent D’Ette Devine dis­cuss ed­u­ca­tional op­por­tu­ni­ties ahead.

for the busi­ness com­mu­nity to sup­port these pro­grams. She shared in­for­ma­tion on the School of Tech­nol­ogy, STEM pro­gram and Project Lead the Way with the nearly 60 at­ten­dees Thurs­day.

Cham­ber Chair­man of the Board Joe DiNun­zio, vice pres­i­dent of Arte­sian Wa­ter, passed the gavel to in­com­ing Board Chair Jake Ruddy, of PCS.

Ruddy in­tro­duced three new board mem­bers: Patty Croce, of Amer­i­can En­ergy Cor­po­ra­tion; Patti Paulus, of The Pal­ette & The Page LLC; and Bill Pritchard, of Union Hospi­tal Foun­da­tion. Ruddy also in­stalled Jack Scham­mel, of Lead­ing Logic LLC, as the new vice chair and Pritchard as the new trea­surer.

DiNun­zio thanked out­go­ing board mem­bers Mario Gangemi, of Ce­cil Busi­ness Lead­ers, and Scott Sturgill, of Har­ford Bank.
