Coach of the Year Dave Ruark, Per­ryville Guided Pan­thers to first state cham­pi­onship in pro­gram his­tory, fin­ish­ing post­sea­son run with a come­from-be­hind, 10-9, walk-off vic­tory over Boons­boro in the 1A State Fi­nal at Uni­ver­sity of Mary­land in Col­lege Park … coached team to an un­de­feated record, end­ing the sea­son with a per­fect 22-0 mark … led team to Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion crown … con­structed a lethal lineup top to bot­tom that outscored op­po­nents 176-24 over 17 reg­u­larsea­son games … earned nine shutouts, in­clud­ing a 15-0 win over Pikesville in the 1A State semi­fi­nals … won five con­sec­u­tive post­sea­son con­tests, scor­ing less than dou­ble-dig­its only once … earned an 8-0 record against Ce­cil County op­po­nents.

Carly White Per­ryville, Sr., UTL Mid­dle-of-the-or­der slug­ger who paced the Pan­thers’ of­fense with a .506 bat­ting av­er­age, five home runs and 36 RBI through 22 games … ended the sea­son with 17 ex­tra-base hits … pro­duced mon­ster post­sea­son, con­nect­ing for two home runs, two triples, four dou­bles and 13 RBI in five play­off con­tests to help guide team to first state ti­tle in pro­gram his­tory … strong de­fen­sive catcher who did not al­low a passed ball all sea­son … named first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion … back-to-back All-County selec­tion.

Taylor Ab­sha­gen Bo­hemia Manor, Jr., P From the cir­cle, posted a 14-2 record with a 2.07 ERA and 88 strike­outs in 94 2-3 in­nings … pow­er­ful cleanup hit­ter at the plate, fol­low­ing up her 2015 Player of the Year per­for­mance by hit­ting .319 … tied for team lead with 21 RBI … added nine runs scored and two home runs … named first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion … three-time All-County selec­tion.

Molly Dill North East, Fr., P Ended year with a 0.58 ERA from the cir­cle with 91 strike­outs over 61 in­nings … en­tered nearly ev­ery play­off game as a reliever dur­ing In­di­ans’ run to the 2A State semi­fi­nals, fin­ish­ing post­sea­son only al­low­ing four earned runs in four ap­pear­ances … at the plate, bat­ted .544 with two home runs, two dou­ble, one triple and 16 RBI … added 26 runs as the team’s lead­off hit­ter with a .595 on-base per­cent­age … helped squad to Susquehanna Divi­sion cham­pi­onship ... first-team All-Susquehanna Divi­sion.

Emily Phillips Per­ryville, Jr., P Ace of the Pan­thers who went 11-0 with an ERA just over 2.00 in 75 in­nings pitched … tossed seven com­plete games, in­clud­ing go­ing the dis­tance with 13 strike­outs in an 8-3 vic­tory over McDonough in the 1A North Re­gion Fi­nal ... at the plate, hit over .400 with eight RBI … first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion … 2015 honor­able men­tion selec­tion.

Kait­lyn Ste­wart North East, Jr., C Ath­letic catcher who dis­played strong arm and lead­er­ship abil­ity … com­piled .345 bat­ting av­er­age with two home runs, four triples, four dou­bles and 20 RBI … added 24 runs scored, in­clud­ing the game-win­ning tally in team’s 1-0 ex­tra-in­ning vic­tory over Ris­ing Sun in 2A East Re­gion Sec­tion I semi­fi­nals … first-team All-Susquehanna Divi­sion … back-to-back Al­lCounty selec­tion and 2014 honor­able men­tion choice.

Kait­lyn Grif­fin Per­ryville, Sr., IF De­pend­able third base­man and strong hit­ter who bat­ted fifth in the Pan­thers’ lineup … hit over .440 with 25 runs scored … belted one home run, one triple and added 17 RBI … also stole nine bases … back-to-back All-County selec­tion.

Ly­dia Hill Per­ryville, Sr., IF Se­nior leader, strong de­fen­sive first base­man and dy­namic hit­ter who bat­ted third in Pan­thers’ lineup … fin­ished sea­son hit­ting .446 with 29 RBI and 21 runs scored … went 3 for 4 with a dou­ble and three RBI to help lead Per­ryville past Boons­boro, 10-9, in the 1A State Cham­pi­onship game and se­cure pro­gram’s first-ever state crown … ended year with one home run, three triples and four dou­bles … first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion … back-to-back Al­lCounty selec­tion.

Melinda Mor­gan Bo­hemia Manor, So., IF Mid­dle-of-the-or­der hit­ter who led team with a .424 bat­ting av­er­age and .479 on­base per­cent­age … tied for the team lead with 21 RBI … belted seven dou­bles, two triples and one home run to go along with 20 runs scored … 2015 honor­able men­tion selec­tion.

Anna Tid­aback Bo­hemia Manor, So., IF Short­stop who bat­ted in mid­dle of the or­der, fin­ish­ing with .419 bat­ting av­er­age and 19 RBI … led team with seven triples ... added six dou­bles and shared team lead with two home runs … paced Ea­gles with 31 base hits and .770 slug­ging per­cent­age … sec­ond-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion.

Am­ber Keene Per­ryville, So., OF Strong de­fender and dom­i­nant slug­ger who hit just un­der .500 as the Pan­thers’ lead­off hit­ter … fin­ished year with 29 runs scored and 23 RBI … added four dou­bles, two triples and one home run … first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion … back-to-back Al­lCounty selec­tion.

Ash­ley Meekins Per­ryville, Jr., OF Two-hole hit­ter for Pan­thers who bat­ted nearly .400 with 25 runs scored and 23 RBI … pro­duced five home runs, four dou­bles and two triples … de­liv­ered the game-win­ning RBI to de­liver Per­ryville a walk-off vic­tory in ex­tra in­nings over Boons­boro in the 1A State Fi­nal, se­cur­ing pro­gram its firstever state crown … first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Divi­sion … back-to-back All-County selec­tion.

Mor­gan Mullin Bo­hemia Manor, Fr., OF Lead-off hit­ter who led team with 28 runs scored … pro­lific ta­ble set­ter who bat­ted .382 with team-high 20 sin­gles … added six dou­bles, two triples and one home run … fin­ished sea­son with 16 RBI … sec­ond-team Al­lCh­e­sa­peake Divi­sion.
