The Cecil Whig finished up its trip around South America with Keith and Joy Cooper from Fair Hill with a visit to Devil’s Island off the coast of French Guiana. Once a famous prison of the 19th and 20th century, Devil’s Island is now open to visitors and lives on in literature and pop culture.
Unfortunately, this was the last stop for the Whig before ending up in the wash by accident. However, the Coopers continued and were also joined by Cecil the Flamingo, who lives in the drive-up window of the Cecil Bank branch in Fair Hill. Cecil the Flamingo has traveled around the world with the Coopers four times, and been on all but one continent.
