Gloria Con­stance Rogers, 93 years, of Per­ryville, Mary­land died Thurs­day, June 23, 2016 in the Lorien Bulle Rock nurs­ing fa­cil­ity of Havre de Grace, MD. Born March 12, 1923 in Wy­oming Valley, Penn­syl­va­nia she was the daugh­ter of the late Don­ald and Ada Warner.

Mrs. Rogers is sur­vived by her sons, Melvin C. Rogers, Jr. of Pen­sacola, FL, James D. Rogers of Per­ryville, MD, Ge­orge D. Rogers of North East, MD; daugh­ters, Su­san A. Min­tle of Des Moines, IA, and Re­becca W. Pre­ston of Bel Air, MD; eleven grand­chil­dren; nine great grand­chil­dren; one great great grand­child; and brother, Don­ald Warner of Duryea, Penn­syl­va­nia.

Mrs. Rogers was the wife of Melvin Rogers mar­ried, May 5, 1945 in Wy­oming, Penn­syl­va­nia. Gloria worked for West­ern Union in Mary­land where she met Melvin who was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Be­fore set­tling down in their Per­ryville Home with their five chil­dren Gloria and Melvin lived in In­diantown Gap, PA, Havre de Grace, MD, Ger­many and Aberdeen, MD. Gloria and Melvin were mar­ried for 68 years upon his death on Novem­ber 1, 2013.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents and hus­band, Gloria was pre­ceded in death by her brother, Mor­ris Warner, her sis­ters, Re­becca Ger­boc and Gla­dys Car­roll.
