Eve­lyn Fay Reynolds, 88, died 14 Septem­ber 2015. Fay was born in her par­ents’ farm house in Elk Mills, MD, on 30 April 1927. She was one of four chil­dren born to James and Mis­souri Guibeson.

Fay lived most of her life in Ce­cil County but spent her fi­nal years as a snow­bird – liv­ing with her son, Martin, in Vir­ginia, and daugh­ter, Mar­garet, in Ari­zona.

Fay spent her early years rais­ing three chil­dren but later re­turned to pri­vate in­dus­try even­tu­ally re­tir­ing from Cargil.

She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Martin Reynolds and Mar­garet Bai­ley. Ge­orge Reynolds Jr., the youngest son, passed in 2009 – a loss from which she never re­cov­ered. She also left be­hind seven grand­chil­dren and three great grand­chil­dren, all of whom share me­mories of “Mom Mom”. Fay loved many things dur­ing her life, in­clud­ing bowl­ing, horse rac­ing, fish­ing and eat­ing crabs, but her fa­vorite past­time was play­ing Pinochle. She will be missed.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice is planned for 11 a.m. on 09 July (Satur­day) 2016 at Cherry Hill Methodist Church. All fam­ily and friends are wel­come to at­tend. Fol­low­ing the ser­vice there will be food and bev­er­ages at the Har­men House (lo­cated be­hind the church). Of­fi­ci­at­ing is Pas­tor Rev. Charles E. Ros­siter.
