Irvin Mitchell “Weed” Deib­ert, 74, passed away on Mon­day, Novem­ber 30, 2015 at Lau­rel­wood Nurs­ing Home in Elkton, MD. He was born on July 27, 1941 in Elkton, MD to Ruth K. McKe­own Deib­ert and the late Foster L. Deib­ert Sr.

“Weed”, as he was known to his friends and fam­ily, grad­u­ated from Elkton High School, and started work at the Chysler Corp. in Ne­wark, DE, where he served for 40 years un­til his re­tire­ment. He was a mem­ber of Union Lo­cal 1183 for Chrysler Corp. He also served in the Na­tional Guard for many years. He was a mem­ber of the Loyal Or­der of the Moose #851 in Cherry Hill, MD, Amer­i­can Le­gion Ce­cil Post #15, and a long time mem­ber of the Elkton United Methodist Church. He was an avid soc­cer player, play­ing soc­cer for the Elkton team for John­nie Sim­mons. He en­joyed danc­ing, shoot­ing darts and help­ing his friends and fam­ily where he could.

He is sur­vived by his mother, Ruth K. Deib­ert of Elkton, MD; son, Davis Deib­ert of Mid­dle­town, DE;
