Meet the artists of The Gallery at 122

Get a head start on the arts at The Gallery at 122 Main this Fri­day.

The gallery will host a num­ber of fea­tured artists, in­clud­ing ones who al­ready have works on dis­play and oth­ers who will show in at the gallery in the next year. Artists in­clude jew­elry artist Bar­bara Hurka, wood artist John Styer, wood artist Bruce Flaugher, and pot­ter and up­cy­cle artist Mag­gie Creshkoff.

The gallery will also con­tinue to show works from con­tem­po­rary re­al­ist pain­ter Frank DePi­etro.

The meet and greet kicks off the July Fourth hol­i­day week­end. The event runs 5 to 8 p.m. dur­ing Elkton’s First Fri­day arts loop.

Gallery 122 is lo­cated at 122 E. Main St. in Elkton and can also be found on Face­book. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thurs­day and Fri­day, and Satur­day 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The gallery is open for a free re­cep­tion with mu­sic, artists and food for First Fri­day from 5 to 8 p.m.
