Hillary is crooked

Cecil Whig - - OPINION -

I’m no legal scholar, nor do I have any degrees in law, although it doesn’t seem to make much difference in today’s world.

Correct me if I’m wrong: Isn’t the FBI an information and evidence gathering body, just like any state or local municipal law enforcement agency? Local police, town cops, county sheriff’s office, state police and up the chain to the FBI, they will all bring evidence to a district attorney and that district attorney, or in this case the attorney general, will make a decision to arrest and bring the case before a grand jury, to see if the case has merit enough to stand trial. Since when does the attorney general defer to the FBI for any of these decisions? Why does the U.S. need an attorney general at this point in American society? If the rule of law is to be ignored and the attorney general can play political favorites, we are as corrupt as Huey Long’s bunch and our country will surely suffer.

Last week was a dark day in American law enforcement, and American pride. I’d vote for Bugs Bunny before I’d let that rat Hillary into the White House, if I had any say at all. One last thing: I actually thought Trump was off base calling Hillary “Crooked Hillary.” Turns out he’s just like my favorite Democrat of all time, Harry Truman. He knows how to call a spade a spade. We could use another man like Harry!
