Ed­ward H. Wil­liams Jr., 70, of New Hol­land, PA, passed into the arms of Je­sus on July 18, 2016 af­ter an 8 month bat­tle with can­cer.

He was born in Ce­cil County, MD, on Feb. 17, 1946, to Ed­ward H. and Dorothy T. Wil­liams. He is sur­vived by his wife, Con­nie Schroll Wil­liams. They cel­e­brated their 30th wed­ding an­niver­sary in Feb. 2016.

He will be missed by his chil­dren: Jeffrey Wil­liams (Deanna), Elk­ton, MD, Michelle Dal­ton (Kevin), Ris­ing Sun, MD, Amy Inger­son (Ti­mothy), Colora, MD, R. Matthew Good (Kather­ine Robb), Ephrata, PA, Ni­cole Martin (Chad­wick), New Hol­land, PA, and Char­lotte Oswald (Bradley), New Hol­land, PA. He is known as Pop-pop to Sa­man­tha, Brit­tany, Paige, Jared, Cody, Tay­lor, Chloe, Emma, and Zoey. Also sur­viv­ing are two broth­ers Parkes Wil­liams, Elk­ton MD, Kevin Wil­liams (Jan­ice), Elk­ton MD, and two sis­ters, Con­nie Rogers, Elk­ton, MD, and Chris­tine King (Darrel), Ris­ing Sun, MD. His mother-in-law, Char­lotte Daugh­erty, also sur­vives.

Ed was raised on a dairy farm and grad­u­ated from Ris­ing Sun High School in 1964. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He was a mem­ber of Cal­vary Church where he served as an usher and had been ac­tive in LIFE Min­istries. Un­til his death, he was em­ployed by Re­gal Ab­stract, Lan­caster, PA, as man­ager and set­tle­ment of­fi­cer.

He is known for his ded­i­ca­tion to his col­leagues and clients, his sense of hu­mor, and mak­ing a va­ri­ety of fla­vors of home­made ice cream!

A view­ing will be held at Cal­vary Church, 1051 Lan­dis Valley Road, Lan­caster, PA, on Sun­day evening, July 24, 2016 from 5-8pm. The fu­neral ser­vice will be held on Mon­day, July 25, 1:30 pm at Cal­vary Church, with a vis­i­ta­tion be­gin­ning at 12 Noon. In­ter­ment will be at Evan­gel­i­cal United Methodist Church, New Hol­land, PA, with full mil­i­tary hon­ors.
