Cecil Whig - - INSIDEBASEBALL -

It’s Yogi Berra Day at Yankee Stadium, and Yogi receives the ceremonial first pitch from Don Larsen, author of the only perfect game in World Series history (against the Dodgers in 1956, with Yogi as his batterymate). With that duo looking on, David Cone becomes the 16th pitcher in major league history and the third Yankee to toss a perfect game when he beats the Expos, 6–0, striking out 10 and never falling behind by more than a 2-0 count.
