Becky de­parted this life on Mon­day, July 25, 2016, sur­rounded by those who loved her dearly. She was born at Bain­bridge Nava l Hos­pi­tal on May 7, 1965, the daugh­ter of Wil­liam H. and Glo­ria Man­ers Har­ris.

Becky grew up in Elk­ton, MD, at­tend­ing Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion and Elk­ton High schools. She was a grad­u­ate of Goldey-Bea­com Col­lege and the Univer­sity of Delaware, where she earned a graph­ics de­sign and pro­duc­tion cer­tifi­cate. Becky was em­ployed as a sec­re­tary and graphic arts spe­cial­ist at Zeneca Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal, Ne­wark, DE, and PCI, Pennsauken, NJ. She most re­cently worked for Lib­erty Tax Ser­vices, Ox­ford, PA, and Robert S. Swan­son Com­pany, Ken­nett Square, PA. A mu­sic en­thu­si­ast, she en­joyed at­tend­ing con­certs and ap­pre­ci­ated art of all kinds. Becky loved an­i­mals and at­tend­ing Ravens and Ori­oles games.

She was pre­ceded in death by her beloved fa­ther, Wil­liam Har­ris; and her aunt and un­cle, Elaine and Lloyd Man­ers.

Becky is sur­vived by those who will never cease to love her, daugh­ter, Rachel Har­ris, Ne­wark, DE; mother and step-fa­ther, Glo­ria and Carl York, Elk­ton, MD; sis­ter, Pamela Parks (Hugo), Wash­ing­ton, DC; brother, Carl Har­ris (Dawn), Nashville, TN; aunt, Mary Ann Bryan (Wil­lard), Elk­ton, MD; niece, Amanda Parks, Ne­wark, DE, who was her loyal and lov­ing care­giver and with whom she lived; and nu­mer­ous cousins.

Spe­cial thanks to close friends, Harry Small, Jr. and Diana Myers-Lil­ley for their help­ful care and sup­port.

Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be cel­e­brated at 2 p.m., Fri­day, July 29, 2016, at Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion Church, 454 Bow Street, Elk­ton, MD, where visi­ta­tion will be held in the church chapel from 12:30 p.m. un­til 1:45 p.m. In­ter­ment in Gilpin Manor Me­mo­rial Park, Elk­ton, MD, will be pri­vate.

In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily re­quests con­tri­bu­tions to Sea­sons Hospice and Pal­lia­tive Care, in care of Hicks Home for Funer­als, 103 W. Stock­ton Street, Elk­ton, MD 21921.

Queen St., Ris­ing Sun, MD on Thursday, July 28th from 6-8 p.m. Visi­ta­tion will be held at Gate­way Bap­tist Church, 58 Foxy Ct., Ris­ing Sun, MD on Fri­day, July 29 at 10 a.m., fol­lowed by a ser­vice at 11 a.m. A mil­i­tary burial will fol­low at West Not­ting­ham Ceme­tery.
