FALL SPORTS Bohemia Manor High School “Meet The Eagles”
Bo. Manor High School will host a “Meet the Eagles” night for parents, athletes and coaches for all fall sports teams on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium. All athletes should bring their completed physical packet, insurance form and emergency card.
Cheerleading: Wednesday, Aug. 10 and Thursday, Aug. 11, 4-6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 13, 9-10 a.m.; Corollary tennis: will begin after school starts; Cross country: Monday, Aug. 15, 8-10 a.m.; Field hockey: Tuesday, Aug. 8 at Camp Pecometh, Friday, Aug. 12 is first practice at school, 8-11 a.m.;

41st Annual Cecil County Tennis Championships
The tournament will be held Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Cecil College courts on the North East campus. Round-robin singles. Women check in at 8:30 a.m., men check in at approximately 10 a.m. Entry fee is $5.

FOOTBALL Cecil Saints Inaugural Jamboree
The Cecil Saints football squad will host a preseason jamboree on Saturday, Aug. 20. The event will held at Meadow Park, 300 Delaware Ave., Elkton, Md. 21921.

The Cecil Saints football squad will host a car wash on July 30. The event will take place at the North East Post Office in North East.
CECIL COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION Tennis

Super Summer Camps
Summer sessions start the week of June 13. Camps include: Adventure Camp, multiple soccer camps for all ages, Baseball Camp, Paint Camp, Tennis Camp, Track and Field Camp, Girls’ Lacrosse Camp, Dance Camp, Preschool Sports Camp, Safetyville (Rising Sun High School and Elk Neck Elementary), Olympic Camp and Minute to Win it Camp!
Speed and Agility Clinic
Triple Threat Training will host a Speed and Agility Clinic for children entering grades 2-12. Improve speed, quickness, agility, lateral mobility and explosiveness. A pair of four-week sessions on Wednesday nights June 29 – July 20 and July 27 – August 17. Cost is $50 per session. Adult Soccer League
Teams are guaranteed eight games in the first outdoor league held on the Calvert Park turf. Games will be short-sided 6 on 6 on Saturday and Sunday nights. Must be 18 or older to play. Cost is $400 per team plus $20 referee fees each week.
Olympic Games Camp
Compete in Olympic style events to earn medals! Running, jumping, throwing,
catching, archery and many other events will test your skills! There will also be some water fun! Snack and drink are provided daily. The program runs July 11-15 from 9 a.m. — noon daily at the Rising Sun Community Center. Cost is $75.
Adventure Camp will include such daily activities as Nerf wars, kickball/wiffle ball, dodgeball, obstacle courses, water day and various sports. Best suited for the more active and competitive type. Our Adventure themed day camp will be scheduled July 25-29, daily from 9 a.m.-noon. Registration is open to students 6-12 years and there is a fee of $80.00 for the week.
Minute to Win It Camp
Campers will play popular Minute to Win It games that challenge them both physically and mentally, including outdoor water games. Snack and drink are provided daily. Camp runs August 15-19 from 9 a.m. — noon at the Rising Sun Community Center. Cost is $75.
CECIL COLLEGE Specialized Basketball Shooting Camp
Monday, July 25-Friday, July 29, 9 a.m.1 p.m. For boys and girls in grades 5-12. Bring a desire to learn basketball, sneakers, athletic shorts and shirt and a lunch bag. Camp takes place at the Cecil College Physical Education Building on the North East campus.
Ed Durham, Men’s Basketball Coach, will teach and oversee all aspects of the camp. Cecil has won the Maryland JUCO regular season and state tournament championship a combined eight times since 2001. The 1999, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2016 teams won the Region Championships and advanced to the National Tournament. The 2006 team won the NJCAA National Championship. Coach Durham, along with the current team members, will be responsible for teaching and demonstrating the fundamentals of basketball. Coach Durham will stress confidence, teamwork, effort and sportsmanship, which he feels are important ingredients in achieving success on and off the court.
Camp activities include shooting fundamentals such as mental game, 3-point
shooting, free-throw shooting, shooting off the catch, screen, dribble, fast break and more, including shooting contests and 5-on 5 full-court games. Camp features include indoor courts, T-shirts, players grouped according to age and ability, extra individual instruction emphasizing perfect practice habits.

Monday, July 25-Friday, July 29, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. For ages 7-18. Camp takes place at the Cecil College softball field on the North East campus.

July 25-29, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. For rising seventh-12th grade girls. Camp takes place at the Cecil College Physical Education Building on the North East campus.
Mark Farra, Cecil women’s soccer coach, will teach and oversee all aspects of the camp.
Mark has 28 years of soccer experience at the collegiate and high school levels. He will be joined by his coaching staff that has been together for five years. Kyrie Bowe is a graduate of North East High School and Cecil College. She brings her experience from her years at top level teams like Drexel University and the Baltimore Bays. Joshua Farra is a TFW certified trainer. Josh has learned and trained with some of the best trainers in the world. He used his experience from training at the US Olympic Training Center at Cecil College as well as this camp.
The Cecil College soccer staff will teach individual and team soccer fundamentals such as: dribbling, ball control, passing mechanics, defensiveoffensive positioning, shooting skills, off the ball movement, nutrition and conditioning $120 per player, with $20 discount for each additional family member.
