Mary R. Cordill, 88, of Elk­ton, MD, died Tues­day, Au­gust 2, 2016, in the Lau­rel­wood Care Cen­ter, Elk­ton, MD.

Born in Calvert, MD, on Jan. 2, 1928, she was the daugh­ter of the late John and Florence (Chap­man) Rogers. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Ewing and the late John Cordill.

Mrs. Cordill was a mem­ber of Dog­wood Bap­tist Church.

Sur­vivors in­clude her chil­dren: Charles Ewing of Elk­ton, Daniel Ewing (Deb­bie) of Elk­ton, Dorothy Miller (Glenn) of North East, MD; 10 grand­chil­dren and 15 great grand­chil­dren.

She was pre­ceded in death by a brother: Harry Charles Rogers.

Funeral ser­vice, con­ducted by Rev. John Sparks, will be held Satur­day, Au­gust 6, 11 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P. A., 127 South Main St., North East, MD. Visi­ta­tion will be­gin at 10 a.m. un­til ser­vice time.

In­ter­ment will fol­low in North East Methodist Ceme­tery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily re­quests dona­tions to help with ex­penses to the funeral home.
