El­iz­a­beth Mar­garet Tester­man

El­iz­a­beth “Libby” Mar­garet Tester­man, of Conowingo, MD, died Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 10, 2016 at the Sen. Bob Hooper House. She was 86.

Born in Car t e r e t , NJ, she was the daugh­ter of the late James R. and Velma (White) Miller and wife of the late Wil­liam S. Tester­man who died in 2000.

Mrs. Tester­man had worked in re­tail sales. She was the Trea­surer for many years at both New Be­gin­ning Bap­tist Church in Ris­ing Sun, where she was a mem­ber and at Trin­ity Free Will Bap­tist Church in Dar­ling­ton.

She is sur­vived by her sons, David J. Tester­man and wife Emma of Conowingo, Wil­liam S. Tester­man and wife Donna of Per­ry­man, and Don­ald E. Tester­man and wife Brenda of NC; daugh­ters, Donna M. Sar­gable and hus­band Mark of Conowingo and Norma Jean Byrd and hus­band Ron­nie of Mt. Airy, NC; sis­ter, Hilda Ta­tum of Edge­wood; 16 grand­chil­dren, 27 great grand­chil­dren, and five great great grand­chil­dren. In ad­di­tion to her par­ents and hus­band, she was pre­de­ceased by her sons, Michael G. Tester­man in 2001 and Roger D. Tester­man in 2010, and her brother James Miller.

A vis­i­ta­tion will be held at Trin­ity Free Will Bap­tist Church, 3414 Cedar Church Road, Dar­ling­ton, MD, on Sun­day, Au­gust 14 from 6-8 p.m., where a fu­neral ser­vice con­ducted by Rev. Mark Rudd and Rev. Don­nie Cogdill will be held on Mon­day, Au­gust 15 at 11 a.m. In­ter­ment will be in Dar­ling­ton Ceme­tery with her grand­sons serv­ing as pall­bear­ers.
