Sixteen-year-old Elizabeth Antoinette Vanreenen was located by police around 7 p.m. in an Elkton parking garage. She was with a friend, and officers did not report any injuries.

On Friday afternoon, Maryland State Police sent out notice of Vanreenen’s disappearance and asked for anyone with information to call them.

Asking for public help has worked well in similar missing persons cases in recent weeks. On Aug. 3, two county teens were reported missing, and officers found them unharmed the next day.

Another teen went missing that Wednesday in an unrelated incident. Police also located her on Aug. 4, several hours after asking for the public’s help in the search.
