— The sound of Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” will once again ring through the streets of downtown on Friday as the town’s promotional video is officially released.

Titled “Can’t Stop the Feeling an Elkton Tribute,” the video will be shown for the first time in the municipal parking lot, on Howard and Bow streets, at 8: 15 p. m. Friday as a part of the town’s monthly First Friday event.

Earlier this month, Elkton’s first promotional video was shot with help from almost 20 businesses in the downtown area. The goal of the video is to showcase Elkton’s businesses, as well as shine a positive light on the town.

Before the town’s promotional video reveal, Mason Dixon Pro- tainment will provide DJ music from 7: 30 p. m. until the video release, said Jenn Parsons, a member of the Elkton Chamber and Alliance’s

promotions committee. Parsons said the company donated a large inflatable screen for the video.

She said the municipal parking lot is slated to close for the event, but there will be other places in the downtown area to park, such as behind Minihane’s Irish Pub & Restaurant and at the parking lot on Bow Street, where the Farmer’s Market is held.

“My hope is that everyone in Cecil County can get something positive from the video and enjoy what we created,” Parsons said.

Jessica Price, also a member of the Elkton Chamber and Alliance’s promotions committee, said they are hoping for at least 100 people to attend the release.

“We’re definitely excited about it,” she said.

For those unable to make it to the party, the video will also be posted to the Elkton Chamber and Alliance’s Facebook page and website after the release, Price noted.
