Wanda Anne Furches
On Thursday, September 1, 2016, Wanda Anne Furches, 84, passed from this life into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in West Virginia to Martha and Andrew White on March 30, 1932, Anne had made her residence in Elkton, MD, for the past 23 years.
Mrs. Furches moved to this area with her parents at the age of 12. She and her husband of 67 years, raised all five of their children in Delaware. Although Anne would occasionally work outside the home, she was happiest as a homemaker, caring for her husband, children, and extended family.
Currently a member of Faith Southern Baptist Church, Anne was a Sunday school teacher for over 45 years at several churches in the area where she is remembered as a a prayer warrior and a woman of great faith.
Anne loved to read, and in her younger years, frequently wrote poetry and created art work. She loved music of many genres and took great joy in the musical gifts of her children.
Both of Anne’s siblings, Audrey Matney and Edith Furches, are deceased; as well as her eldest daughter, Myra Lois Daniels. She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Milton Zackary Furches, currently of Rising Sun, MD; her daughte,r Gail Denise White of Arkansas, and her husband Perry White; daughter, Monica Elaine Richardson of Elkton and her husband William; daughter Rhonda Joyce Norris of Elkton, and her husband Mark; and son Reverend Zackary Furches
