Michael Joseph Byrd
Michael Joseph Byrd, age 60, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Born in Elkton on June 27, 1956, he was the son of the late James D. and Daisy Wilmer Byrd.
Mr. Byrd is survived by his brothers, Rodney Wilmer, Robert Byrd, both of Elkton, MD, and James Byrd, Newark, DE.
Funeral service interment will be private.

Carol was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Rising Sun, MD, and formerly employed for 27 years by the Conowingo Post Office, Conowingo, MD.
Carol is survived by her husband, Rex Alan Funk of Port Deposit; son, Jeremy Matthew Funk of Rising Sun, MD; daughter, Jodi Marie Finney and husband, Charles, of Port Deposit; five grandchildren: Connor, Collin, Carter and Caylee Finney, and Sydney Funk; one brother, Denny Wiggins and wife, Bernice.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 16, 11 a.m. at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Rising Sun, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 15, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the church, and a second visitation will be held Friday, September 16, 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Charles Finney of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Rising Sun will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.

Mary Anne was a funloving and generous person and she loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and they were the joy of her life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and all who knew her.
