Ea­gles win over Ca­toctin in foot­ball

Bo­hemia Manor pulled away from a tied score at half­time to de­feat vis­it­ing Ca­toctin 21-7 in non-con­fer­ence foot­ball ac­tion on Fri­day.

Bobby McClen­nan had 31 car­ries for 172 yards and two touch­downs and added a 30yard touch­down catch from quar­ter­back Ryan Con­nol­ley (7-of-10 pass­ing for 94 yards) for the Ea­gles (2-1), who were tied 7-7 at the break.

Cameron Gar­cia and Austin Bram­ble both added two catches each in the vic­tory.

The Ea­gles fall to 1-2 on the sea­son.

No. 2 Bel Air 26, Over­lea 0 The Bob­cats im­prove to 3-0.

No. 4 Fall­ston 56, Ris­ing Sun 16

Quar­ter­back Nate McCul­lough com­pleted eight of 21 passes for 94 yards and run­ning back Mau­rice McCargo rushed 10 times for 42 yards for the Tigers (0-3), who re­ceived two catches for 37 yards from James Moyer and three catches for 34 yards from Randy Leonard.

The Cougars im­prove to 2-1 over­all.

C.M. Wright 54, North East 7 The In­di­ans fall to 0-3 on the sea­son. The Mus­tangs im­prove to 2-1 over­all.

North Har­ford 35, Pat­ter­son Mill 13

Cole Dick­er­son and JT Kidd both scored a pair of rush­ing touch­downs for the Hawks (2-1).

The Huskies fall to 0-3.

Edge­wood 18, Jop­pa­towne 6

Daryl Cooper had a rush­ing touch­down, Johnny Wat­son re­turned a fum­ble for a score and Mike John­son booted a 25-yard field goal for the Rams (3-0), who re­ceived a safety from Isa­iah Gib­bons.

The Mariners fall to 0-3. Har­ford Tech 47, Tat­nall 41 The Co­bras im­prove to 2- 1 over­all.

Katie O’Hare scored off an as­sist from Maken­zie Stal­lone for the Ea­gles ( 3- 1).

Paul Giesing had two goals and an as­sist and Luke Silva and Alex Me­gan­hadt both scored once for the Cru­saders ( 22- 2), who re­ceived five saves from Ryan Rash.

Caro­line Ford had two kills, Olivia Boas had two as­sists and Aubree Smith had two digs, while Holly VanVoorhis and Madi­son Bur­row both recorded three digs for the Cru­saders, who lost by set scores of 25- 3, 25- 7 and 25- 8.
