Richard K. Wil­son Jr., 73, of Elk­ton, MD, passed away Thursday, Septem­ber 15, 2016. Born Oct. 23, 1942 in Wi l m i n g - ton, DE, he was the son of the late Richard K. Wil­son Sr. and Vir­ginia (Har­ris) Wil­son.

Richard served his coun­try in the United States Army. He worked in glass sales on the road for over 20 years with Hires Turner Glass of Wilm­ing­ton, DE, and Hawkins Glass Co. of Wal­dorf, MD.

In his younger years, he en­joyed coach­ing his two sons at Canal Lit­tle League. Richard en­joyed boat­ing, golf­ing, hunt­ing and spend­ing time out­doors. He found his great­est plea­sure in shar­ing fun times with fam­ily and friends.

Richard is sur­vived by his wife, Sandra (Bin­g­ley) Wil­son; two sons: David Wil­son and Richard Wil­son III; step­daugh­ter, Jennifer Pa­cana; step-son, Jeff Pike; three grand­chil­dren; and two step grand­chil­dren.

A fam­ily co­or­di­nated cel­e­bra­tion of Richard’s life will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Septem­ber 29 at the Amer­i­can Le­gion, 192 W. Main St., Elk­ton, MD 21921.
