Eagles blank the Golden Elks, snap rival’s undefeated record
Bohemia Manor shut out host Elkton 1-0 in Susquehanna Division boys’ soccer action on Monday, snapping the Elks’ undefeated season.
Robby Messick scored the lone goal off an assist from JP Collins for the Eagles (3-4 overall, 1-2 division), who received five saves in net from Servando Colorado.
The Elks fall to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the lower division.

Katie O’Hare scored off an assist from Lexi Cook for Cecil County’s Eagles (4-2-1 overall, 1-0-1 Susquehanna).

Caroline Ford had four kills and Tori Thompson added two kills, while Olivia Boas (five aces, two digs) and Aubree Smith (11 aces) both added one kill for the Crusaders, who won by set scores of 25-13, 25-18 and 25-20.
Madison Burrows added three assists, two aces and one dig in the win.
UCBAC Field Hockey Elkton 3, Edgewood 0
Vanessa Dunn scored twice and Erin DePaul added a goal on a penalty stroke for the Golden Elks (7-0 overall, 4-0 Susquehanna), who received one assist from Nicole Baldino and two saves from Fallon Katz.
The Rams fall to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the lower division.
Harford Tech 4, Bo Manor 3
Lu Bradley (assist), Cassidy Hufford and Reghan Dunn all found the back of the cage for the Eagles (2-5-1 overall, 2-1-1 Susquehanna).
The Cobras improve to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the lower division.
Youth Soccer Cecil Kickers 4, SH/Glyndon 1
Gabriella Pileggi recorded a hat trick for Cecil (4-1), which received a goal and an assist from Summer Davis and a pair of helpers from Kylie Narvell.
Shadai Givens recorded four saves in the victory for Cecil, which led 1-0 at halftime.
