Thumbs down

Cecil Whig - - OPINION -

To the news that the construction on the Chesapeake City Bridge will remain for a little bit longer. For those who live, work or play below the C&D Canal it’s been a long summer contending with the one-way traffic over the span as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers completes a repainting project. While the original timeline placed the project’s estimated finish in October, a delay in coordinating traffic control issues compounded by heavy rainstorms at points this summer pushed the schedule back to mid-November. While the headache will continue for a little bit longer, the good news is that it is expected to be wrapped up before the holidays arrive.
